This year, as I teach through 2025–2026, I’ve decided to share how I approach different science topics in the classroom. I’ll be posting my own ways of explaining ideas, tackling tricky concepts, and helping students make sense of them.

I’ve always believed that a fundamental part of teaching a topic well is how you tell the story. Do you build on what students already know? Do you help them see how the science connects to real life? For me, that’s what brings lessons to life. Like watching a good movie, the story should flow — each part leading naturally to the next, keeping students engaged and curious about what comes next.

These posts aren’t research papers or formal guides — just honest insights from my day-to-day teaching and what I find works best with real classes.
